Hi there, as you may have guessed, I'm Benjamin, and this is my Blog. I have lived in the UK for over a decade, but I was born and raised in Ireland. Dublin, more specifically.
I have always been passionate about writing and telling stories. From the superhero books and comics, I wrote and illustrated as a kid to the private story readings I would charge entry to in the tent in my front garden, it's been the thing that's stuck with me the longest.
In pursuit of my passion for words, I have been fortunate enough to study at both graduate and masters levels English Literature, History, and Multimedia Journalism. Still, as exciting as an education in the English language in all its forms may be, I am very keen on the practical applications of it all.
Over the last number of years, I have spent considerable time writing. I wrote copy and content for various topics, I interviewed and wrote about other writers and artists, I created a brand new local hero and comic book for Liverpool Comic Con, (CTRL), and more recently, I have spent time as an editor for Screen Rant. Specifically managing the superhero beat which covers everything Marvel and DC.
In 2017, I married the love of my life, and we have since been blessed to have three beautiful children. Today, we are navigating life and all of its complexities, which now include homeschooling, dealing with our neurodivergent brains, and striving to always do our best.

Benjamin is a passionate conversationalist who possesses a huge amount of curiosity. As such, it was natural to set up a podcast like The Indie Heroes Journey where he interviewed a range of talent from filmmakers, to video game producers and comic book artists.

For The Arc Cinema, Benjamin has been a face for some of their recent social media campaigns, advertising upcoming films and delivering high quality video content for use on socials and the big screen.
